Minor’s / Men’s / Women’s leagues will be under one league umbrella!

To better represent the membership of our league, the official name of the Beeton Ball Hockey League has been changed to the New Tec Ball Hockey League (NTBHL) and will now encompass the BBHL Minor’s, BBHL Men’s and BWBHL Women’s leagues.

The Minor’s league has grown year after year since it started in 1997 with members from all across Simcoe County. As the nucleus of our members are from the Town of New Tecumseth, and our league operates in arenas located in Alliston, Beeton & Tottenham we feel that it’s a perfect time to make this change. Additionally, the Beeton Men’s and Beeton Women’s leagues will now be part of the NTBHL with the executives joining together forming one of the strongest ball hockey organizations in the country!

Correspondence to our members and the community at large will be now made under the new name and you will see changes in our flyers, advertising & website that will also reflect our new name.

A few things to note:

1.      Our infamous trademark ball hockey logo will remain the same for the Minor’s and Men’s leagues.

2.      Women’s league and Provincial teams to remain as the “Blazers”

3.      Minor’s and Men’s Provincial and National teams will continue to compete under our well recognized name the “Xtreme” although the full name will be the “New Tec Xtreme” rather than the “Beeton Xtreme”.

4.      Over the next few years, player’s jerseys will be phased in reflecting the new name.

5.      Our webpage will still be located at www.bbhl.ca although we’ll also be introducing www.ntbhl.ca as a new address in the next year.

6.      The Women’s webpage www.bwbhl.ca will eventually be pointed and transitioned to www.ntbhl.ca

7.      The emails you’ll be receiving from our executive team will be changing to name@ntbhl.ca although our name@bbhl.ca will still be operating over the next year as people transition their correspondence.

We are excited about this change….it reflects our membership and reflects our commitment to the community that we live and service.   If there are any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to the respective 2012 seasons and are excited about seeing everyone this spring!!

Registration for all age groups will open the first week of February

and all 2011 players will be notified by email once the system is open.
